Get started with a healthy routine

For good oral health, regular dental visits are important. This way, problems like cavities and gum disease can be prevented. During your first visit, we check the condition of your teeth and gums. The dentist also assesses any risk factors and recommends a time interval for future check-ups based on your specific needs.

Registration of children and adolescents

All children and adolescents in Sweden must be registered with a dentist from the age of three until the year they turn 19 – this is to access free dental care. When registering, a record is created and the person is registered as a patient. After that, regular appointment notifications are sent out when it’s time for a check-up.

Keep track on Mina sidor

On Mina sidor, you get a clear overview of your upcoming appointments. Here you can also access your X-rays, snooze future visits, get a clear overview of your children’s appointments (if any), and more!

FAQ

What does it cost?
A check-up costs 1200 SEK. With the general dental care subsidy, the price can be even lower. You receive either 300 or 600 SEK in annual dental care subsidy depending on your age. If you need additional treatment, you’ll receive a cost estimate and can schedule a follow-up visit with your dentist. Children and adolescents visit us free of charge until the year they turn 19.
Am I committing to anything?
No, the choice of dentist is entirely up to you, and you decide whether you want to receive reminders for recurring check-ups. With us, you only pay for the dental care you use when you visit. There are no subscriptions or binding periods. You can always cancel completely free of charge up to 24 hours before your appointment.
How often should I visit the dentist?
If your teeth are in good condition, a check-up every two or three years is often sufficient. If you have fillings that need to be monitored or conditions like gum disease, it’s a good idea to visit the dentist annually. Your dentist will recommend the interval that best suits your needs. Regular visits pay off in the long run and reduce the risk of needing more extensive treatments.
Will my dental records be transferred if I switch to you?
No, your records are not transferred automatically. In most cases, they are not needed – we get a good understanding of your oral health when you visit us for a basic check-up. If we’re missing X-rays, we’ll take new ones. However, if you have a complicated dental history, it may be helpful for your current dentist to send your records to us. Call us at 010-550 15 00 if you have any questions.
